Year 2 – Art

Year 2 have learnt about colour pop in art and created their own colour pop art work from sketching some fruit. They carefully used their sketching skills and only used pencils to shade and finally added one pop of colour. 🎨🧑‍🎨

Year 3 – Wider Experiences

Ash had a fantastic time working with Tony Bullock yesterday! Together, they got creative and brought some amazing woolly mammoths to life. 🦣✨ Just look at these incredible creations! We think they’re absolutely mammoth-tastic!

Year 4 – Art

In Art, Larch class learned about Johannes Gutenberg and his invention of the printing press. We then explored different types of print and experimented with various printing techniques in class.

Year 3 – Art

This week, Year 3 took inspiration from the famous artist Paul Signac and learnt how to create wonderful art work using pointillism.

Year 1 – Art

As artists, Year 1 used clay to make a pot. We then mixed primary colours to add some colour! Red + yellow = orange

Year 1 – Art

Year 1 have been exploring clay by creating balls, slabs and coils, experimenting with imprinting and sculpting. They have also made clay pots and are looking forward to painting them!

Year 4 – Art

Year 3 created clay pots inspired by the Ancient Greeks, carefully moulding the clay into different shapes and patterns. Once the pots had dried, they painted them with colourful designs to complete their Greek-inspired artwork. #Year3 #AncientGreeks #DimensionCurriculum

Year 3 – Art

This week, Year 3 used their creative skills to make Greek pots using clay. They used a variety of techniques including shaping, cutting and rolling to achieve the final look.

Year 1 – Art

In Art and Design, Year 1 have been sketching. We looked at different types of houses and had to draw them from memory! #SketchbookSkill
