Year 3 – MFL
This week, Year 3 celebrated World languages Day by learning Kurdish greetings and finding out where this amazing language is spoken around the world.

Ahoj! Year 2 have enjoyed learning all about Czechia during World Languages Day. We learnt about where it was located in Europe, some of their popular food, what the weather is like there and we even had a go at saying some everyday words in Czech! It was lovely to learn about another culture as that’s what makes everyone special and unique!

This week, Year 3 had fun learning colours in Spanish. They listened carefully to the correct pronunciation for a variety of colours in Spanish before having a go at saying what their favourite colour was.

In DT, we learned about the saga of Ragnar Lothbrok and his famous hairy trousers. We designed and made our own versions using different materials and creative patterns. Everyone showed great imagination and worked carefully to create unique designs.
