Year 4 – PE
In PE this week, Larch class focused on football and practised our dribbling skills. The children worked hard to control the ball with their feet, showing great teamwork and improving their confidence working in pairs and small groups.
PE
Some of the children were very excited to try out our new playground area today! They were able to use the climbing equipment, the seated spring and the tunnel amongst other areas. They had a fabulous time and will be using the area regularly going forward!
Year 4 – PE
In PE, Larch class are practising a variety of rolling techniques. During the PE session, pupils are developing their skills in different types of rolls. They have enjoyed showing what they have learnt to each other in small groups and to the rest of the class.
Year 6 – PE
Year 6 are really enjoying improving their badminton skills during our PE. lessons. This week they played games where they had to track the shuttlecock and aim to use a variety of shots to keep a continuous rally going.

Our Year 5/6 boys and girls played their first dodgeball tournament of the year this week — great effort, teamwork, and lots of fun all around! 💥🏆
Year 4 – PE
Year 4 enjoyed an excellent session with @KangaSports, honing their football abilities. Our skills in ball handling, tackling and passing have significantly improved! This week, we concentrated on effective teamwork. #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork

In PE this half term, Year 4 have been learning Gymnastics. We practised different types of rolls including forward roll, barrel roll, straddle roll and straight roll.

In DT, we learned about the saga of Ragnar Lothbrok and his famous hairy trousers. We designed and made our own versions using different materials and creative patterns. Everyone showed great imagination and worked carefully to create unique designs.
