This week, the children have been enjoying our core text Mad About Minibeasts by Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz, exploring the fascinating world of minibeasts through a range of activities. They have loved painting their own minibeasts while experimenting with colour mixing to create vibrant designs. They have also been busy in the small world and water areas using minibeast figures using their imagination to develop their language skills through conversation and storytelling. In our role play area, the classroom setup has been a big hit, with children confidently taking on the role of a teacher, leading their own lessons and supporting their friends.
