This week, the Reception children have loved exploring our core text Commotion in the Ocean by Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz. They have enjoyed creating imaginative underwater scenes in the small-world and water tray using sea creatures, shells, and flowing water and have been busy making octopuses with eight legs and wobbly jellyfish in the playdough.
