This week, the children in Reception have been busy learning through a range of exciting activities. They have been exploring colour mixing, discovering what happens when different colours are mixed together and enjoying creating new colours. They have also been learning all about Little Red Riding Hood. The children listened to the story, talked about the characters, drew them and practised writing their initial sounds. They have also been creating their own shape monsters while learning about different 2D shapes and their properties, including their sides and corners.
