The Reception children have been very busy learning their key text Rumble in the Jungle by Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz, who are also our authors in the spotlight this term. They have been painting jungle animals and creating minibeasts in arts and crafts, as well as enjoying role-playing in the fish and chip shop. In maths, the children have been working with numbers one to ten and practising adding them together. They have also been creating worms in the playdough area, ordering and measuring their different lengths and exploring a variety of sizes and lengths of worms in both the playdough and soil areas.
