As mathematicians, Year 1 have explored volume this week. In our measurement challenge, we chose a label and poured that amount of water into the cup. We even managed without any spillages!

As mathematics, Year 1 have been using rulers to measure the length of different objects in the classroom and recording this in centimetres. We had to line the objects up carefully to make sure we had an accurate measurement!
