This week, Year 4 have been learning about slavery in Africa. We explored how people became slaves and discovered that many were taken by force or captured during conflicts. The children also learned about the difficult and unfair treatment enslaved people faced. The children have shown great empathy and maturity while discussing this important part of history. We are proud of the thoughtful questions and reflections they shared.
