This week, Year 4 have been learning to round numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000.
We have been using the rule: 5 or more, round up; 4 or less, round down. 
We have been practising looking at the digit to the right of the place value we are rounding to and deciding whether to round up or down.
The children have worked really hard and are becoming confident with their rounding!
