In Music, this half term, year 6 will be exploring folk music. This week we looked at the lyrics of ‘Swing Low Sweet Chariot’ which was a song sung by African American slaves to express their feelings of sorrow, joy, inspiration and hope. We then sang the song with actions to go with the lyrics.
