This week, Year 3 have been travelling back in time to discover the history of animation! We learned about flip books and how they were used to create the illusion of movement long before the cartoons and films we enjoy today.
We then became animators ourselves! 
We designed and created our very own flip books, drawing pictures that changed slightly on each page. When we flipped the pages quickly, our drawings appeared to move!
We had lots of fun being creative and discovering how a simple idea can bring pictures to life.
